Central Oklahoma Corvette Club

From the President

Where does time go?  It is already August and Fall (and even Christmas) will be here before you know it.  The COCC has had a great year so far thanks to the many great members and everything everybody does to make the COCC the great club that it is.  We have added several new members to the club and, from what I have heard from them, they all seem to feel welcome and think the club will be a good fit for them.  I am glad to hear that because we want the COCC to be the place for Corvette enthusiast to have fun doing what they love do – enjoy their Corvettes.  We don’t care how you enjoy your Corvette – we try to have enough variety of events that you can find a way in our club!

We had our annual picnic – we had to kind of change plans on the fly due to some scheduling conflicts, but it went great.  And we just wrapped up or calendar shoot – from what I heard all went well so we should have some great-looking calendars for sale later this year.  Thank You to Hugh Martin for bringing the idea to the club and providing us a photographer to do the calendar.

We have a couple of events coming up.  First is our lunch cruise to Bartlesville – see below for more details.  Please let Kathy Morris know if you are planning attend so they can get everything set up in Bartlesville.

Then the NCM National Caravan coming to OKC August 26th – see below for more details.  The caravan will be coming through OKC and we will have some events here to welcome the caravan.  The caravan will head to Tulsa and then on to Bowling Green.  Thank You to Ike Dodrill for heading the NCM caravan for our club – it has taken a lot of hard work and time, but I think the fun of the caravan will make it all worth it.

Check our calendar for a lot of the upcoming events and pick the ones you like.  Our goal is to have a variety of events so everybody can find something that interests them.  You can come to all of them or just a few.  It doesn’t matter because we want this club to be what you want it to be – our goal is for everybody to have fun doing what they like to do.

Remember, you can always keep up with the club, our activities, photos, etc. via our website and Facebook group – here are the links.

Thanks Everybody!
